Perhaps your thoughts are racing, worries weighing you down, maybe you also can feel it in your body that something isn’t just right or doesn’t feel good? There might be a variety of reasons to seek support from a mental health practitioner or gestalt psychotherapist. Sometimes it's not quite clear what you need, for example, you may feel a sense of anxiety, dismay, grief, reoccurring nightmares or an earlier experience that haunts you - theese are matters in which I will do my utmost to support you with understanding and professionalism. Myself, I have a broad life experience and do not have a naïv approach to life challenges - I will greet you with openness, tolerance and without judgment!
- Together, we can try to understand and explore how you can achieve an increased wellbeing and joy of life.

My practice is located in the middle of Oslo Downtown, right by OsloMet & Pilestredet Park.
I welcome you to a confidential conversation in friendly environment!

As a client, you don't have to come up with a fixed theme - I'll welcome you just the way you feel right here and now!

The experience of a therapy session - how could it be?

In a therapy session we often start by talking a little bit, maybe you will share your general thoughts or you may want to focus on a special topic. In other situations you might share how being in therapy affects you here and now. For me as a gestalttherapist, it is important that actually beeing in the therapy room becomes a sort of safe haven for you, where we can openly welcome the unexpected that might need attention. Sometimes it can be difficult to describe all that is deadlocked within us with just words, we can then use other methods of communication, such as drawing, movement, role play or anything else that comes naturally (and willingly) in the situation. We don't really focus on setting unrealistic goals or striving to achieve other people's expectations for you, but try to focus on what's important to you in your life.

When I work with couples, the method becomes more focused on relationship focus therapy, but this approch is also influenced by the gestalt principles.

Change happens only when we recognize what is - we need to feel that we stand steady before it becomes apparent where to go!
